Adding your own promotions against manufacturer fed models.
To create a new promotion against a model, you need to create a new post. If you have not yet created a post or page, You can use this guide here which details all the steps you need to take to create your post.
Please note, you must use POSTS to add promotions to a model and not pages.
Further Elementor help can be found here
When you add a new post you need to do the following things;
- Add the content of the promotion. You can either use the standard wordpress editor for this or click the 'edit with elementor' button for something more custom
- You need to add a category against the post, for it to show against a model you MUST click this category - 'Custom Promotion'
- You need to add a tag also against the post. The tags need to be the same as the model you want the post to show against. In my example i used a pre-existing tag called 'RS 125'. You can use Multiple tags here to show a promotion against a range of models
- You need to add a featured image to the post. An ideal size would be 1024 x 768 pixels.
Tags / Categories / Images are all managed on the right hand side of the post page like so;

Once you have created your post and set the above requirements for Categories and Tags, you can publish your post.
Once published, any promotions added will now show against the model on the website. Please see below for an example.

This does not override manufacturer promotions, these will show directly below or above your dealership promotions depending on how the page has been styled.
