Opening a menu link in a new window
To open a newly generated menu link in a new window, there are a couple of things you need to do. By default, this feature isn't visible inside the 'appearance > menus' area.
Enabling the option
To enable it, at the top of your screen you should see a 'screen options' tab. Click this and then enable the 'ink target' checkbox.
Applying it to your menu item
Now, on each menu item you simply need to click the little drop down arrow and then click the box for 'open link in new tab'. After this save your menu and give it a test.
